My son and I made our first game and saved it as a standalone game.
I tried to save the game and send it to my friend and the title will not copy and paste.
I tried to download it on youtube and that didn't work either.
What is the procedure for making a game and then converting it to a .exe file so I can send it out to my friends?
I am a bit of a slow learner so if I missed something I am sorry.
Thanks in advance for all the help.

If you create a standalone game called "Commando " for instance ...this will be saved to your Documents / GameGuru Files / My Games /

In there you will find your Directory "Commando " .... that's what you need to give to a friend .... The next step would be to Zip the folder then put it on dropbox or similar so he can download the Commando.zip

If he lives close by you could even copy the folder to a Usb stick and take it round
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

Perhaps it is too large for your email? Even if not, some email clients will filter out executables. As said above, dropbox would be your best bet (or something like it). Even a small level will be a few hundred MB. Unless you have a really fast upload speed, be prepared to wait a while for it to upload! And like said above, there is the ubiquitous USB stick, which depending on your proximity, may be the fastest way to get it there.

Youtube is for videos only!

It writes the files to this folder: C:\Users\YOUR PROFILE\Documents\Game Guru Files\My Games
There will be folder with the map name. these are the saved standalone versions.

Check it out and see if they are there.

I found that folder and downloaded it to a USB Drive and then took that to the other computer. It works but it takes a long time to load on that one as it is 23Meg. Now I am trying to find a way to zip the file and send it as an attachment or place it on a website.
I cannot send out a bunch of USB drives.
