Is there any way to do this without creating a custom animation for each entity?

Not really. You can piece the fixture objects as dynamic object and then use an explosive barrel to detonate the whole group, that is about it.

The reason is that there are no fracture meshes or the animation sequences included with any of the stock items.

Anything glass, really, would be awesome! Windows, bottles of all types (beer, soda, liquor, wine, etc. would make for interactive bar scenes!), and glassware, of course!

IIRC classic has the chance to set a second ani as debris.
Would be nice to that in GG.
