Here is a little trick I have found to locate and remove or adjust entities that have (by mistake) been located below the terrain or lost from view.

When in the test level press F11 this will display a list of items that can be turned on/off (bottom of the screen).
Enter the number "1" on the keyboard to hide the terrain from view and all entities hidden by the terrain will become visible.
Press F9 to enter the 3d editing process. Press "E" to enter entity editing. Using the mouse search your level to locate the missing entity which will now be viewable.
When the missing entity is found select it with the curser provided, press "page up" to raise the entity above the terrain or press "Delete" to get rid of it.

LOL, I've known about hiding all those things for some time now, but for some reason never thought of using it to find lost entities. This has happened to me on more than one occasion. Thanks!
