I think Import Model is very useful and saves a lot of time. However (unless I'm missing something), it doesn't seem to ask for a texture. Consequently, I get a model with a red/white texture until I edit the FPE file to specify the correct texture.

Hey lj - I missed this at first too - but if you click the red/white box on the left hand side (on the importer view), it will open a dialogue to select the texture file.
