Product Chat / GameGuru stuck on checking files for you?

Gameguru just keeps showing the checking files for you menu.

My antivirus also picked up the sound file thingy as a virus again and deleted it.

I disabled realtime scan and reinstalled GameGuru but it still won't go past checking files for you.


It has been there for 20 mins now does anybody have any idea how to fix this? I have a bit of store media but i hope that isn't causing the problem.

I have brought this to the attention of the developers again.

can you please make a ticket using the green help bottom to the lower left.
Give them your machine specs, and op sys, and virus program details, and any error messages, that may be helpful

@JeliLiam : Did you get this issue resolved with the latest version (by excluding the dbpdata folder from your virus checker)? In build 021 I am making some small changes which might skip the false positive currently being reported by some virus checkers (and we have sent the DLL in question to the virus checker authors but there is no telling how long they will take to respond). I personally use ESET Smart Security which I rate very highly for its protection capabilities, options and above all, very small performance hit on my system.
PC SPECS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Intel Core i7 920 (PASSMARK:5008), NVIDIA Geforce 9600 GT GPU (PASSMARK:752) , 6GB RAM
