How do you get rid of the splash screen for Game Guru? I tried editing the menu images and they cant be opened even in photoshop. I know there is not an actual Menu creator yet, but I can deal with the main menu for now if there is a way to remove the splash screen,

Hi Big Dog Game

Eventually GameGuru will have an in built editor for this ...Meanwhile
Backup the titlesbank folder in GameGuru.... edit the pics "before" you make your standalone game
All your new splashscreens will then be carried over into your standalone game when you compile it ..

Hope that helps

That is actually awesome. I had not delved that far yet. I also think I know what to do about the splash screen, I will update this post soon with those details.

Actually, that is incorrect. The Splash screen files are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Game Guru\Files\languagebank\english\artwork\watermark

Those are the files that have to be changed to remove the GameGuru splash screen

Did deleting those help you? Did it have any adverse effects or throw an error message?

I did not delete them. I backed up the folder, went to photoshop, and changed each one. Now when my game fires up it shows my company logo in place of the "created by gameguru".

Speaking of the Splash Screen, it has been suggested in several posts, about the fact that the Test Mode Splash screen commandeers the entire screen. When testing new scripts, if an error occurs, the system simply locks-up while loading and one can not see the LUA error message, without killing the load via the task manager. This makes debugging scripts very time consuming, and a pain as one must re-start GG each time.

This needs to be fixed!

Agreed... It took me some time to figure out that I had to start the task manager and switch to the LUA error when it happens.

Thanks, I was wondering where the splash screen is.
Now, I won't remove Game Guru logo from splash completely, I'll add my logo and game guru next to it
