Hi there! I recently made my first little test game and placed it on gamejolt. It got good reviews and such but some people say it won't work?!

Some people say it just won't run others say it is detected as a virus and other people get the file may be damaged/corrupt error.

Is there a fix for this or is this appearing because they arent meeting the minimum requirements?

The weird thing is it is working flawlessly for other so i'm baffled as to what it can be :I.

The virus report issue was fixed and GG should have done an update for you, if you have not logged of GG and back on in the last 1 1/2 hours then try that first, and see if the virus thing is fix. The other stuff, let me think a second on that.

@Pirate Myke

it's not me that is having the virus problem it's the people downloading the standalone.

I think the virus thing is just because it has no signed author. That way chrome warns them it migth be dangerous since only people with chrome seem to have the issue.

well there are a few requirements for the games to run, mostly to do with specs and directx - if they can play any recent-ish game though it should be ok, there are some files included with GG that should be installed along with the standalone (you'll find them in the _commonredist folder)

the other issues are likely all linked, if antivirus are (silently or not) removing files this will lead to the corrupt result
