Hi All,

We're pleased to announce the very first GameGuru update. This addresses an issue that some users were experiencing regarding some virus checkers reporting false positives and introduces a couple of minor stability tweaks.

You can update from Steam as normal.

Just ran the new update and now Gameguru will no longer function see the attachment...
What now?? I have rebooted several times with no success ... Game guru is now non functional on my system!!

Reinstalllling fixed it for me, m2design! I saw your post in the other thread as well. We're not alone, it seems.

Same problem as m2design
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit Intel(R) Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3,40 GHz 16 GB AMD Radeon HD 7700

Edit: remove and install helped.
But now, another problem,when I click on the Store to download
I get this message Coult not connect to the server (connect failed) -650

I had the same problem as m2design. My GameGuru looked just like your picture. Tried restarting several times, with no change. Ran FPSCR with no problems, so it was not my Win7 Pro 64bit. I will admit, I broke GameGuru, by trying to drag the terrain deform tool with the arrow keys like you can with the paint tool. Goodby GameGuru!

Saved by Steam! Steam will check the integrity of your install. In this case Steam found 174 files that no longer matched theirs. Two minutes later, I had a working GameGuru.

If you go to your Steam Library, right click on GameGuru and select properties, the popup's bottom button will be "Verify Integrity Of Game Cache"

That may fix some peoples problems.

Run a test game and press "Tab" twice ....check the water and reflections slider has not defaulted to Zero
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

@ JackalHead: GameGuru will automatically update each time you start it up (providing you're online).

Why the last GameGuru version doesn't exist in my My Products page ?!?
I don't want to download it via steam, I want to manual install it.

Unfortunately Downloading from steam is the only way to install GameGuru

This is one bad news for me. The reloaded v1.01 work approximate well and I don't agree to have another one in my program files just because his name is "GameGuru" now....

Don't worry Game Guru installs in a totally different location ..
You can use both

Multiplayer goes through steam so its all incorporated into the steam install location.
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

And my system take two similar programs with two different names. Thanks, but I don't agree this.

Multiplayer goes through steam so its all incorporated into the steam install location.
Its the same program just called GameGuru.... Just backup your files directory ( If required ) and uninstall the old Reloaded..
This is the next version ..

Hmmm... maybe I will due this, but I still don't agree the steam options.
Thanks for help me.
P.S. Maybe will be better for me to I wait for stand alone multiplayer.exe in this GameGuru, because for the moment I don't make any multiplayer level.

You can have both installed with no problems.....
GameGuru has lots of new models, Features, Demo Levels and ......32 Zombies !!
and of course the instant multiplayer ... Even if you don't make MP maps you can play with users that have or use the Multiplayer Maps supplied .. and its great fun !!

Everyone has them......click the + beside "Characters"

The Horror pack is now called Asylum and there is a new warehouse pack....Both found by clicking + on "buildings"
Check out the warehouse Demo .... Just one of a few

PS...Big Demos they take a bit longer to load ...

So i finally came here, since i'm completely incompatible with STEAM i need a "dumb boy" step by step guide on how to install the whole thing...
i looked where i downloaded all version of FPSCReloaded files, there is one link saying "look at ALL your steam keys" clicking bring me to an empty page "no steam keys at moment", no help, nothing, absolutely nothing. where are the instruction to:
1) get my GOLD PLEDGER steam KEYS
2) install gameguru "troubless version guide"
3) thank you

Create a Steam account if you do not have one .....

You need to install steam and run it from your desktop...
You will see the menu on the top left of your screen
Pic below shows what you should see.............. Steam / View /Friends / Games / Help..
Select "Games" Then Select " Activate a product on steam "

i had to link my stream account to game-guru account, then the page with steam keys showed up

now the tricky question:
since i use my netpad to surf the net, and the high spec pc i usually used to play with FPSC Reloaded do not have the ability to connect to the web, how i can install game-guru on it? i do not want to waste a key, so actually i do not tried anything.

The key gets linked to the Steam account not the computer, so you can use one of your keys and activate on your Steam account, you can then login to the same account on both PCs. You will however need an internet connection to download GameGuru onto your desktop machine.

It is the v1019 already for download, or not yet ?
In the steam announcements I see it "is online for download now" but my GG still appear at v 1018 and sure, I'm online with the steam open......
Also I've check the file integrity twice, to be sure....
AND: still exist "autoflatten = 1" on the building entities and crashed on the first map editor test in the v 1018...
