Today the ability to login to the GameGuru website and forum using Steam was released. If you already have a TGC account you will need to link your account to Steam before logging in, more info on this below.

There are a few benefits to linking your Steam account:
- You will be able to login with one click from the login page.
- Your Steam profile will be linked to your forum profile allowing people to find you more easily. Coming soon
- You will be authenticated as owning GameGuru when it is released on Steam, this will grant access to the TGC store.

Existing TGC users you can link your Steam account here
Once linked you can login using Steam on the normal login page by clicking the login with Steam button.

Users without a TGC account, can simply login using Steam on the login page.

Important note
If you do not link your TGC account to your Steam account first, you will be given a new forum profile and new forum name. Each Steam account can only be used by one user and you will have to contact support to fix the issue.

I am afraid if there is an issue with your Steam login details you will have to talk to Steam support, we are not allowed to help you with that.

However I would suggest checking that you are using your login name and password not your display name, they are different.

I was able to link my STEAM account pretty effortlessly. It just worked. I also have AGK2 for STEAM, so I assume that may be why it was so easy for me?

That, and the 20 zillion other games and apps I purchased on STEAM (using Humble Bundle or Bundle Stars).

am I doing something wrong?

I don't see a way to use Steam Wallet Credit in the store. I want to purchase points using Steam Wallet Credits, but Wallet Credits isn't a payment option when purchasing points. Can anyone explain how to use the wallet in the store?

You don't need to purchase points you add items to you basket and there is an option to checkout with Steam Wallet.

"User not registerd on the Game Guru Store, please click the Game Guru store button in the bottom left of the editor and login using your Steam account."
I have done this, but I keep getting this message when I go to download store items.
Even if I restart Gameguru.

Are you logged in to two accounts at the same time? Your friends list name and steam page account names don't match...

What does it say when you click the "Visit Steam Support for more information" link?

Only one login name: My login account name on steam is "Dan_Larry" and in the "Edit Profile" page I have "Old_Larry" as steam nick name in use.

And for the "Visit the Steam Support"
I got this:
"How do I gain access to these features?

You will need to spend at least $5.00 USD within the Steam store.

Some examples of purchases that grant access to these features are:

Adding the equivalent of $5 USD or more to your Steam Wallet
Purchasing game(s) that are equal to $5 USD or more from the Steam store
Adding a Steam Wallet card to your Steam account
Purchasing a Steam gift that is equal to $5 USD or more from the Steam store (Receiving a Steam gift from a friend doesn't count)

Each Steam purchase total will be tracked in USD. If your Steam store's currency isn't in USD, it will be tracked and converted to USD automatically using daily exchange rates."
So, in the steam I must have some $ in to the Wallet That is not fair, because I want to buy directly with my Visa or Master Debit Card. So why the Steam force me to use his "Steam Wallet" ?!?

Yes. I suppose they only want users who have paid at least some amount directly to them in the past to use certain features. I imagine it is to keep from bots from overloading the system.

Do you have access to the GameGuru Steam forum? The live chat is not regularly used from what I know.

Did you get the same blocking message when trying to add a friend? It seems odd because I have seen many Level 0 accounts sending friend requests and with friends.

I can Accept (block or ignore) any friend invitation but,
I can't add or invite only: "Your account does not meet the requirements to use this feature. Visit Steam Support for more information."

I have the same with my account.
for full access on steam i have read, that you first must buy something from the store with a creditcard or simular.
Then they can check of you have a valid account and you not use it as spam.
At least that is what i read.

yes that is true, steam wants its dime. Put $5. minimum on Steam Wallet, and you should be good.

That will unlock your account.
