Version 1.009
While going thru a few items from my FPSC assets I found a few commands that work in the FPSCR FPE files, well 1 does .
forwardfacing = 1 doesn't do much but add it and try it out (a fun thing in the editor) . It shouldn't hurt anything . It didn't on my machine .
defaultheight = 50 (or what ever number you want) will set the height of object placed . It does work .

Must be some old (leftover) or perhaps some new code ?

Thanks Lance

I've been struggling with the current limits of the FPE, and I'll give your defaultheight= a try, as setting the height of entities has been a problem.

The new Editors Widget is very useful, except when it comes to height. Even in Properties view it is very difficult to manually get the entity height correct, particularly on larger entities, since it becomes difficult to get into a position where you can see just how much the height is being effected by the PageUp / PageDn keys (in Properties mode).

I'm old school when it comes to using numbers rather than visual adjustments. It would be nice if in editor mode one could move the mouse pointer over a location and be able to read the X Y Z coordinates on that location in the info line across the bottom of the screen. There is an X and Z value there now but the numbers don't seem to mean anything.

Also, one of the most difficult parts of using the F9 Editor (in Test Game Mode) is that it is very difficult to select an entity or even to know which entity has been selected. The ability to move the camera in this mode is much superior to the property mode in the editor.

I would suggest that if the development team wants to make accurate visual (XYZ) adjustments, then improve the method for selection of entities in the F9 mode, or a better 3D positioning system in the Editors Properties mode would be in order. Adding the size and position values of the entities and locations would also be a great help for placement and scripting purposes.

In other news....
Yesterday, Arizona State beat the #8 ranked University of Arizona basketball team... No Pitty for the Kitty.. (right Jerry?)
