I did a factory reset on my computer to get a bunch of stuff cleaned up and get rid of some problems. After getting everything back on the computer and reinstalling reloaded it tells me I need to reinstall it because directx files are missing. I reinstalled it several times and My directx is updated so I\'m not sure exactly what\'s causing the problem. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. I\'m sure it\'s just something I spaced out on and didn\'t do but at the moment I don\'t know what it is.

I guess I jumped the gun once again, I got the problem solved. Although the computer showed the directx was up to date it apparently wasn't. I ran a directx installer from one of my steam games and it fixed the problem. The game ran fine without it apparently which seems kind of strange..... Anyway, fixed is fixed! well, if anyone else has this problem this is how you fix it

The amount of times I get that on new installations..... Its as if Direct X is updated quietly with new dll files ...but no one tells you
Which is why I suppose games ask if you want the latest version installed...

The strange part is I've installed a couple games already and usually they asked me to install directx but none of them did. I started playing through them and had no problems which doesn't make sense. Necessarily the game should work either without the correct directx installed. I had to go through the program folder to find the installer and do it that way. I don't know, I'm just glad it's working

The correct approach for creating installers, per Microsoft, is to include every DirectX dependency the app requires and silently run the DirectX installer during the main setup process. DirectX will then install any missing files and this problem will go away. I think TGC is not doing this quite correctly for Reloaded or AGK.

yeah, I guess you would figure reloaded would come with a directx installer package attached to it.
