Hi,

Here are some things which should be in Fps soon, hopefully.
Well, my PC is not bad (i5 4690k, gtx970) but the frame rate goes from 180 sometimes down to 14. (When I use a lot of tress and plants).
So my biggest wish is performance maybe a good idea would be to switch from dx9 to dx11 which could be a big boost.

Wish list:

- performance (stable frame rate)
- switch to dx11
- load/save system for ingame
- in editor multi level support
- standalone game files encrypted/protected
- more than 5 ground textures (maybe own tex. from bitmap)
- easy import of own 3D models (option in the editor)
- better water effects (small waves)
- zombies hahahaha

A long list, but I also must say, I really like fpscr so far. The light effects are nice, the fog, the shadows, the plants.
With the things fixed from the list, fpscr could be a awesome tool.

Not really a feature. But this is something Lee always puts consideration towards with each new build.

Isn't there an option for that under File > Import Model?

They are working on the zombies if you saw Lee's blog a few days ago.

That topic has been brought up a lot but nobody has yet to mention its actual benefits for Reloaded. Though I can see many.

I really need there to be more texture options as I would like to be able to use my own and way more than 4 on the same map.

I think once we get the global scripting commands working in a way that they transfer (save) the variables and scene data from level to level, we'll be able to just use the WinZone for this.

it is not just the dx but the entire o.s. that was being discussed. instantly 64bit double the memory straight away. better techniques i am sure errant can give you many. instancing, better pipe lines for handling graphics like tess, pixelation etc. the latest tech ie x11 + which come with w7 onwards go hand in hand and cope better with particles etc and give a more smooth operation. this is fact. but as i say i can wait a bit as long as it will happen

an unquenchable thirst for knowledge of game creation!!!

I just always read "add dx11 support". But I think that needs more convincing for Lee than just saying we need something without explaining why. I've just seen it a lot in the forums for feature requests.

( I understand why we need it ) lol
