#3 can be found here http://fpscrforum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=207801&b=2&msg=2488584#m2488584

Not sure about the rest, but the Heat Haze sounds a bit like the fullscreen shaders we used to have with FPSC Classic, I'd love to see things like that start to come back with better optimization.

1 The LUA commands are too limited I think at the moment to create effects of that nature.

4 would not be too hard to script.

5 is not possible yet.

What did you name your script file? Also looks like there is no function call for daylight in that script hmm

You must name your script: "day_night" without ""

1) not possible yet, cause we did not have posteffects
2) I would say it is possible without trying it. Sadly I didn´t have the time to test.
3) yes
4) It is possible if you define drinking maybe a little different
5) Will be added later. Maybe 1.10

My dream is to develope games, which makes fun when I create it and fun when other people play it.

1) depending on how you want to do it you could put up a couple images with a transparency so that it looks like blurry sand etc is blowing across the screen... it's not great but maybe better than nothing.
i did it for rain and it's not too bad (you just have to be specific about zone maybe if you are planning to have buildings to go inside etc)

2) should be possible using some decals placed at the players position but there's no way to spawn entities so you'd need to decide how many you want to place and then reuse those as the player moves

3) that's my script and it's dated now, should still work i guess but even if it doesnt it's still possible though.

4) yes but you would need to create a script for the drinks and set the amounts and effects in the script

5) nope

The rain does look good, sometimes it's about the simple things (like a bird flying in the distance) that make a game more realistic. Did you upload this script?

i tried a quick look at birds flying but it doesnt work well with images as if you turn the camera angle in game the bird doesn't really move correctly - i'm sure it could if you really put some maths into it but wasn't really interested in spending ages trying to get my head around that, would be far easier to just set up some 3D models to fly around

i'll add the script and images to my thread for the rain so you can use it.

i'm sure you'll find some help but you'll need to be more specific about requirements as number 4 especially is very vague
