When I place a model into a new terrain and run the game play mode, the lighting of both the sky and the model are over-exposed and washed out. Even when I make adjustments to the surface and ambient light settings, I can get the model and terrain to look OK, but the sky still is too bright??? Am I doing something wrong or is this an internal issue?

Have you tried toning down the brightness? In all my playing around, I've concluded that for the most part (there is a little crossover) brightness controls the light from the sky, ambience controls ambient light obviously, but this affects entities and the ground. Surface level pretty much just controls the ground. Each affects others somewhat, but those are the gist of them. If you turn down the brightness and turn up the ambience, it should look better. You may not even need to adjust the ambience from where it is in that screenshot. If necessary, you can tone down surface levels and ambience levels further by adjusting the individual channels by the same amounts. Also, don't forget the contrast! If all else fails, a really cloudy sky can help!

This looks like it could be part of the bloom slider as well.

Oh yeah! I always forget that's there! I always focus on the sliders on the right! LOL! Try that, Sun Devil!

This is the bloom slider! I never use more than 50. The slider doen´t make the bloom looks more beautiful, instead he increase the size of the bloom. Pull it down and your problems are solved

Edit:

I see Teabone already said this. Sorry

My dream is to develope games, which makes fun when I create it and fun when other people play it.

Thanks Guys

Always wondered what the bloom setting was used for. I backed it down and things are looking much better though I still needed to adjust the brightness and ambiance to balance the lighting on the models.

And Jerry, I was concerned when I set my name as GO DEVILS, that it would me misunderstood. Good to know someone understands
