LOL, I know it's not the one in London, but it is one of the originals! (found this out after a little research) Finished 1831, moved here in 1969 brick by brick. Not the one of nursery rhyme fame, but this is just one example of why America can't be allowed to have nice things!

Some day I will see the real one in London! It is certainly more majestic than the one that made the news here! I've got a old friend who lives there that I've been meaning to visit for some time. I just hate traveling alone, yet I guess it's time I suck it up and just do it. He comes over here almost every year by himself. I guess I owe him! Sorry, didn't mean to make you panic, but was pretty sure the title would grab some attention!

hahaha oh it did lol and yeah only momentary panic lol no harm done
you should visit sometime m8 why not lol. I would love to visit the usa as I have a m8 over there and in Canada also to visit but finding time money and plucking up the courage to travel alone 1000s of miles out of my comfort zone is hard haha.

Yeah I hate traveling alone too. I figure if I'm going to die in a plane somewhere over the Atlantic, I want it to be with someone I care about, LOL.

Nope ..apparently there was no truth to that at all according to this .... But it has turned into a kind of urban legend here

Interesting, syncromesh! I moved here around 30 years ago and learned early on that that bridge was up there but didn't know anything about it's history until this morning. I also learned that it's the second most popular tourist attraction in Arizona next to the Grand Canyon. I'd say that's pretty good! It's funny I've lived here so long and have never visited it. I gotta get out more!
