Predicting when a piece of software will be released is a very hit and miss affair. You may think the software you've creating is done, give it to some testers, only for those tester to point out lots of bugs & errors that you didn't think where there.

I think this is what happened with V1.009, it was released to the alpha testers and they must have found lots of things that didn't work correctly. So rather than giving us a bugged version and us complaining a lot when things don't work right (), Lee is trying to squash as many bugs as possible to give us an awesome next update.

Also remember this is a major update with plenty of new things, not just a few tweaks here and there so there's lots to get right.

That's what I think anyway.

And I'm sure the zombie pack will come out when it's been made more awesome.

Really from what lee has said is that its close to release, all the intended features are in it(better shaders, I think better water, improved terrain, map size changes, better fog, and around 10 - 20 fps gain, on top of new models and a bui

Sorry, no building editor (It will be back), no map size changes and multi-player can't be added until we release on Steam as it needs Steam to run.

Lots and lots of other good things though.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply.

We've no set date for the Steam release as V1 needs to be completed first.

Really hoping for better custom enemy support. I'd love to start working on non-biped creatures.

I hope you have other plans for multiplayer then just steam. I was hoping to be able to create my own characters in 9 or at least play with the building creator. Sounds like its just going to be shader updates etc. Also what ever happened to Gold pledgers been able to access regular cadence alpha tests? Thats one of the main reasons I went gold. So I would not be twiddling my thumbs waiting on the next beta. I don't care if its stable or not, let me decide if I want to chance playing with an alpha version. That is what was advertised when I pledged Gold. So that is what should be.

So let it be written. So let it be done.

"Vae Victis" P.S I am a GOLD Backer of this project. I'm just to lazy to email for my badge. If your reading this, then your probably thinking that I could of sent that email instead of typing this. Well, you wouldn't be wrong! Now that you have read all of this....Back This Project. Thank You And Have A Good Day or Morning or maybe evening....

this was dropped for an alpha testing team about 8 or 9 months ago, and I think it worked out better for most users given the string of betas that was released that made this decision..

I do hope to see conkit ready b4 steam release myself but no idea about that though..

One would hope, or at the very least finely be able import custom animated media easier. Thats all Im really waiting for. The rest sounds nice, but I can live without what is coming out. I just want to be able to get my animated models into game.

@Jackal i dont think reloaded will be able to import 3rd party characters as from what i understand it has a bone limit so unless you make them

from scratch just for reloaded your out of luck. (I could be wrong but i haven't had much luck with them)

That is not an issue. Ive used other software with bone limits. Realm Crafter to name one. Even that piece of ya know what had custom media importing.

I think Reloaded has a bone limit of 60 (I stand corrected on this) which is more than enough for most purposes.
