I don't know if it is the same in Sketchup but I use Max and I also had this problem, to fix it I made sure that the model is centered on the grid in max and fits perfectly within a certain amount of grid squares IE.. 10 grid squares long.

Here's one I made earlier:

Doesn't quite fit in the grid squares:

Doesn't fit together:

Fits in the grid squares:

Fits together:

Hope this helps

I've got something to say - It's better to burn out than fade away. God is a kid with an ant farm, he has no plans. A cure for Agoraphobia is just around the corner.

Any modeller you use you must always consider that the snap in fpscr moves 1-10-100 inches. So your wall to move correctly and quickly to be long 254 cm (100 inches) or multiple. For example, your wall can also be 200 or 300 inches. Although snap height does not currently exist, keep in mind that the height should be in inches or multiple (254cm or 508cm etc etc)

Forgive my english

The software I use? ... Autocad, sketchup, Spazio3D, pconplanner, Kerkythea, wings3d, paint.net.
