this is way to fast who drowns that quickly seriously?!.

The drowning is just a temp thing..... The end result is us swimming....but considering before ...if you fell in a pit full of water you would just stand at the

bottom stuck !!

Dying quick is probably the best solution till we get swimming I think ?

My issue with the water is if you turn it "off" via the Tab slider and fall in where it was... at the moment you just stick ??

The ability to simply swim would be nice. With the option of diving under the water. But obviously, as almightyhood has said, most people can hold their breath somewhat longer than the characters current capacity. It's a wonder the player has the lung capacity to walk about, let alone anything else, lol.

Water is still very, very much WIP, which includes swimming. In the end I think we're thinking more Skyrim that what he have now, but lots of things to do before we can start on the real pretties. We understand it's taking a lot of time, more that we'd hoped, but this dedicated push to get everything right will result in a huge release which we hope will blow you all away.

Hopefully, whenever this finally gets implemented (swimming), there will still be drowning capability. It should be configurable however - amount of time before the "drowning effect" begins. and amount of damage taken during the drowning effect. For example:

I'd love to see a system like that
