I have recently started to create the modular kit for the construction of warehouses. The kit will include many elements that can be used with the snap function. All items will be distinct for different types of texture. The creation of the warehouses will be virtually endless.

It will be a very long job

Forgive my English

Do you have any suggestions?

The software I use? ... Autocad, sketchup, Spazio3D, pconplanner, Kerkythea, wing3d, paint.net.

Hi
You need the plugin that exports from sketchup in directx. I am attaching
After exporting, you must compile the file fpe
in the subject line - desc = Description of the object
in the subject line - model = object name .X (it's your model exported from sketchup)
in the subject line - textured = name of the texture _D.dds
you need a 64x64 bmp image of your object (with the same name as your model)
The rest of the file fpe leave it as it is.

In the installation folder fps creator reloaded find a pdf file with detailed instructions

The software I use? ... Autocad, sketchup, Spazio3D, pconplanner, Kerkythea, wings3d, paint.net.

hello,
I did a test:
- The model appears in FPSC but the texture does not appear (black)
I did check the name everything is ok.
Could you make a little tutorial?
thank you

The file that you export from sketchup .x must be changed
Open the file model.x with notepad and change the texture highlighted with the name of the texture of the model.x (for example wood_D.dds)

Thank you for all your advice.
My models appear well in reloaded (1 texture), but when I want to integrate my models with multiple textures it does not work. Could you tell me how to put the other textures?
thank you again.

Go to folder - C: \ Program Files (x86) \ The Game Creators \ FPS Creator Reloaded \ Files \ entitybank \ Buildings
Try opening any texture. You have to use textures like these in your models. A unique texture that encompasses all the textures you need to use on your model. With a program like paint.net or gimp or photofiltre7 (all are free) paste all your textures also keeping the size of 1024x1024 or multiple. (not required if you do not sell your models. I've tried different sizes and there are no problems). After you have created the texture you use it in sketchup using the UV maps.
