There are audio files for the gun sounds in the audiobank somewhere. I don't have access to find them specifically, but they aren't that hard to track down. You simply overwrite those files with your own sounds.

System Specs: OS - Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1, CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 945, 3.0Ghz, RAM - 8Gb DDR3, GFX Card - 2048MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 640, FPSC-R Version - Beta 1.0085

Look in the gamecore folder. Open guns and then select modern. You will see a list of the standard modern weapons. In each, is a file called gunspec. You should be able to copy and edit this to use it for any gun you wish to make.

Edit - Just spotted the above post. Best not to overwrite your files. Far better to make your own and use the gunspec file. But, as to the question, how do I replace the sounds? Completely valid

SPECS: Q6600 CPU. Nvidia 660GTX. 8 Gig Memory. Win 7.

Fire1.wav

Well, I did it before and it was easy to find from what I remember. Rolfy has pointed out the specific locations, which I couldn't check because I'm not at my home computer.
