Feature Creep / Idle animation marker for characters

What would be kind of nice is if we had a marker similar to the one for cover zones that would tell the npc if it came into proximity with it to trigger an idle animation. For example: If you place the marker on a chair and had a setting to change the idle animation to sitting, when the npc came within the set proximity of the marker he would walk to where it's placed and sit down, possibly for a set amount of time. If this is possible you could also have different idle animations for different actions(talking/yawning/checking gun magazine/ect) something like this would make the characters seem less wooden.

Nice idea, but I think a bit optimistic.
