Hi' I'm porting some of my model packages into reloaded and all works fine but since for some of them I have only the model and the relative texture/s .. how can I create the bmp file to use into reloaded editor for model preview due I have blank icon with only the model name so it's too difficult too choose the right models I need during work

thanks in advance

The best way to do this is load the model into a 3D application and take a screen shot of it. Then crop and re-size the image to 64x64 and save as bmp file.

I hear you. I'm not a fan of that either. Most of my custom or converted entities just don't have an icon because I don't want to go through all that.

Actually, now that I think about it, the new Importer does the bmp icon thing for you. If you want to import your stuff that way. I forget what the hot key is for the importer in 1.0085, but I tried it once and it was not bad at all.

Found it. Press F2 to bring up the importer. This will let you bring in a .x file and it'll create the fpe file for you and the bmp image as well. Not sure what quality you get for the bmp, but it's there.

thanks... I didnt know object importer was in yet..

btw I 'm using it but I noticed some bugs
1) when I must to choose the save folder and the popup appear mouse cursor is not visible yet so I must use tab key to change field
2) I noticed that when I import an object fpscr create a .dbo file and I noticed some imported models clipping error if I go too much againts models

obviously I know this is an experimental version but hope this helps to improve it...

I waiting for 1.09 with all its new features and fuctional ragdool for imported character and character importer SBAV::::
