Not sure if this is the correct place to put this but.

I am thinking about putting together a desktop so that I can use Reloaded properly, at the moment I can only get a max of 25fps min 7fps (Sad I know) this is because I am using a laptop. I would like to see 200fps +.

My question to you all is which graphics card would you suggest to get a decent fps. I can't afford a fortune on a card but would like to get a good one. My budget for a Graphics card is £300.

Thanks to all.

I've got something to say - It's better to burn out than fade away.

Check out this site : http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.php. Cards rated 1500 or greater in the first numeric column will give pretty good performance. 2000+ will give good performance. Nivida cards appear to give better results than AMD.

For your budget, you should be able to get something decent.

With a budget of £300 you should be able to get a really great card!
I'm running a Nvidia GTX 760 and I'm very pleased with it's performance. Bought it for like £210

I have Nvidia GTX 760 and I'm also very pleased with it, just watch out as there are a few version of the 760 with a few different memory options as well.

If Tattie posts on this thread he will say the ATI have the edge at the moment but it's not true, Nvidia all the way

As for 200fps in Reloaded, you will not achieve this unless your level is very simple or you set everything to low, you may get 60-80 fps on a well designed and thought out level but again this will depend on the overall spec of your build.
