The recent addition of the RPG weapon is amazing, but as time progresses maybe we could see actual animations when an entity is fired upon, the entity can explode but then it just disappears, we should see splinters and debris falling and lying on the ground, that's what RPG's are for, DESTRUCTION! just a suggestion but it would go a long way with the users

We will certainly be adding a debris system in the future.

I was thinking same thing, destructible objects would be a big plus for multiplayer and single player,
in single player you could make the mission's objective be to blow up a bridge or something.
with multiple player destructible objects are good for always changing the map being played as it is being played.

That media is all part of the current explosion, but we will be looking at ways to improve the explosions, adding variations, etc.

Pirate Myke gave me some brilliant exploding entities for my comp level But I agree we do need debris, and we especially need bullet marks/decals. FPSC classic had this, and its little details like this that go a long way.

In Max Payne 1 and 2, when a bullet hole decal landed on a wall there was a quick animation of gust falling out of it, and for a game that old that effect really stuck in my head as a neat effect.
