Nice looking jetpack! With a comfortable, contoured back for those of us who suffer from severe lower back pain, which has been the only reason I do not currently own a jetpack. I would think, in addition to using the jetpack script, it would have to be used much like a weapon in order to appear from the player's POV. If you can open one of the weapon files in your modeling software, you will see how it's rigged. I messed with this several years ago (classic) and while it didn't look overwhelming, I saw that it took more time than I had available. Somebody around here has an explanation of how they got their custom weapons to work. I do not remember where it is, exactly, sorry! (tomjscott's Omega Core may allow for things like this without all that, I don't know, haven't played with it yet. Again, time constraints!) Happy flying!

I have the week of labor day off (also my birthday week!). If I get a chance, I'll dissect one of the player weapon rigs again and figure out how to replace it with another object. I can't promise anything, as to me it's simply a week off to get things done around the house, no traveling, probably! But I do need time to play!

not bad, but i would like to see the control stick look a bit more like a fighter stick.

Like this perhaps

I've done a real basic script in the script forums to get flying working (the one asking for it). Have fun! It's not as good as the actual Jetpack due to no overlay, but it works.

I won't reveal all the secrets of the mighty Jet Pack, but if you REALLY want to get your personal Jet off the ground, I suggest you look into this folder "Files\gamecore\hudlayers" which is the place where the HUD model resides. An inventive soul might be able to add their own Jet Pack into this folder, and it would certainly be beneficial to own the default Jet Pack to learn more, hint hint

PC SPECS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Intel Core i7 920 (PASSMARK:5008), NVIDIA Geforce 9600 GT GPU (PASSMARK:752) , 6GB RAM
