Try unfamiliar's blender modelling tutorials for FPSCR... he walks you through everything you need to do step by step. I'm not sure where his forum tread went but it had some really good videos...

And if you want to make your very own sky, you can find all the necessary files in files\skybank. It supports traditional "skyboxes". ...and has some new features aswell!

with a 3d crafter model you will need to add

scale= 1500 in the fpe or higher or lower depending.

if you do not add this line the model will be too small for reloaded.

an unquenchable thirst for knowledge of game creation!!!

Hi Goofy

If you're just learning (as I am) I suggest looking into MilkShape. It is a basic modeling program, much easier than Blender, and with two Direct X exports which work well with FPSR. It also has a great UV based tool for applying textures, and can even create basic animations which also work in Reloaded. There's a whole bunch of things to remember, like making sure that your textures are in 4x format 256 x 512, 512 x 512, 1024 x 1024, and other similar combinations. The textures must be in .dds format, and the primary (diffuse) texture must have a title that ends in _D.dds. Also make sure that the the .dds texture is in the desired entity folder inside Reloaded's "File" system.

Attached are a couple of models I created in MilkShape. Nothing special but you get the idea

Good Luck
