Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... If the final thing is to have possibility to blow limbs off with guns and melee, spreading blood everywhere, I'm happy to wait!

I would rather have the user creation content tools first; the building and character editors. Everything else is second importance to me at the moment. With the character creator we could make our own zombies anyway.

Very curious how the character creator is going to work. I wasn't sold on the idea as it was not detailed enough about really what it does other than it can create characters. Does it allow for custom models? does it utilize a series of models (head, hands, body, feet) much like the Bethesda character creation methods?

For me I'm just waiting for more scripts to play around with to create my own character scripts.

No work has started on the character creator beyond getting a bearing on what we need from our in-game characters. I can also report we have some new materials for the Zombie Pack and work proceeds on this now (and I am not involved in this so no distractions are happening - see blog).

So is the pack going to be Left 4 Dead or George Romero style? Since the idea of zombies shooting guns, running, spitting acid, etc. etc. is very hated upon by old schoolers, I'd like to know since I'm one who prefers shamblers over sprinters that squeal like pigs being butchered while slapping you across the face repeatably.

We'll have some news on the improved zombie assets soon, but you can expect a bit of both.

Any chance of having 1 zombie to play around with. Ive created quater of a map to get use to the game creation - but one zombie to play around would help - to be honest ive stopped using reloaded at the moment and cant see me progressing much now until there is at least one zombie....

Alas the Zombies rely on some newer code that is part of the current internal version so no easy way to rush out one Zombie. The Zombie I could throw out there has been universally condemned by our internal alpha testers, so I am taking their feedback as gospel. I hope the new and improved Zombie Pack will be worth the wait!

Though as mention by Lee, that would require the release of the next FPSC-Reloaded build for them to work.
