Your putting the character down first ye.....Then making the waypoint for him,

Havent tried it the other way round in this version to be honest but in the older ones I found it best to put character down first ?

Have you upgraded to V1.008? Waypoints didn't work all the time in earlier versions.

@elvis : Provide me the EXACT step by step from a fresh installation and using stock character on a blank level, so I can see what you are doing, and then I can provide you with MY step by step to show you how it's done

I found in my level that waypoints didn't work, so I got annoyed and deleted them all..

I thought it was just me, maybe its a returning bug. I get a lot of my AI trying to run through walls again.

For me I thought it might be because the waypoints were too close to things. E.g. entities on the ground etc.

If you find it happening again with the latest build, send me a step by step and we'll see what can be done.

Out of interest can waypoints have enemies walking over things? If there are a lot of ground based entities? Because if not, that was probably causing my issue, lots of flat entities.

Will test again and see

Looks great when they just push through them

Is there a way to give waypoints an elevation? I created a simple little level with a watchtower and placed an enemy on it as a look out. I want the enemy to walk around the tower but cannot see how to create waypoints at tower level.

Also noticed that the watchtower has a ladder but unless I set the angle that the player character can climb to 90 degrees, I cannot climb it. The problem with setting the angle to 90 degrees is that the player can end up on top of trees just by walking up to them. Interesting but not realistic

I have very simple tastes, I am always satisfied with the very best.

you can use something like my lift script to fake climbing the ladder at that point (obviously there's no on screen effect but it's better than climbing trees and cliffs )

No waypoint elevation control or ladder support at this stage. I have added the waypoint suggestion to the list!

@Lee: Great news that waypoint elevation has been added to the list.
I think FPS Reloaded is a great tool even at this early stage.
