As many of you know I've had nothing but endless problems with zones.

Zones that should cause a sound to play forever don't.
Zones that should only play the sound if you're in the zone, don't (some sounds randomly play forever).
Zones that should cause a sound to play once do, and then some unconnected point in my level (with no zone) the sound play again.
Zones delete themselves.
Zones move their position between saves.
Zones hate me.

I suspect that there are some invisible zones still causing problems. At least there's something seriously wrong zone related. I need a way to clear all zones, checkpoints and markers (not lights as they seem to be fine) from my level in the hope that this may sort the issue. Simply deleting them and adding new ones doesn't seem to help, I suspect they are leaving something behind.

Any way to do this?

Custom Mac Pro (2014): OSX 10.9 (Mavericks) and Windows 8.1 Pro: Octa-threaded Xeon E5 v2 @ 3.7Ghz [9775]; Dual AMD FirePro D500 (3GB VRAM Each) [3769]; 12GB RAM [2517]; 512GB SSD [9074];

At the detected score [passmark 9074], my SSD is ranked 3rd of all SSD's in the charts

I had some problems with sound zones myself and found it fixed my issues by re-sampling the sounds from 44.1kh to 22kh. It seemed to solve my problems anyway and found through pure trial and error, sound refused to loop etc nd stuttered a lot till I did this, strange all the same as the default stock sound is 44.1kh and plays just fine.

You could try this and see if it helps, maybe gives a clue as well as to where the problems are in the code.

Thanks for the tip Rolfy, I'll try that.

The most annoying issue is sounds playing from zones that don't exist.

The Red circle is the zone, where the sound plays once.
The Second circle is where it plays again. As you can see there is no second zone. Also its not simply a repeat of the first zone, since after the first zone is used it's destroyed and passing through where it was will not re-trigger the sound, whereas passing through the second non-zone again causes the sound to be played, despite the first zone no longer being active/present.

Really hope this can be fixed, or my contest level will never have sound.

@Sparrowhawk : If you can reproduce this from a fresh level I can fix it quite quickly. If you suspect this is due to an old level with corrupt zone data inside it, there IS a way to remove all waypoints and zones from the level but it's a bit muddy.
