Is there a way to increase the range of the lights and when i say range i don't mean the range the light goes i mean the range before they come on as i feel it is far to close so it is really noticeable.

your welcome,

How did you get that illumination shader to work on the lights that you posted a picture of?

The time at which the light comes on depends entirely on how many lights are close together. If you space them out, they will come on at a much greater range.

Well that doesn't work well at all! I am in a room that naturally has multiple lights in close proximity. I don't want to enter the room then have one light fade on. And, then as I walk to the other corner of a relatively small room have the other light noticeably fade on as the other fades out.

This I think should go to the top of the priority list on fixing. (personal opinion/want)

Static lights will be the solution when working proper after lightmapping.
