After sleepless nights and countless hours creating a map for the competition. in the test game character sinks into the depths of the level. I have uninstalled and reinstalled FPSC, but it does not work. The result is always the same.

The problem only happens with the map that I am creating, if I make a new map, the character does not sink. What should I do? I have to throw away all of my work, uninstall definitely fpscr, and go to milk the cows?

???

No hold on...Supposed to be a patch very soon that may cure it....and it may well work fine in V1.008 when it comes out..

Have you tried placing a simple static entity underneath the player start marker? I had this issue as well. I just started the player on a bed. Problem solved.

Cheers

Jay.

Hi Jay

I have tried both putting the character on a static object that put the character in the air. The problem is not solved.

It 's still too early to do something concrete with fpscr.

forgive my english

any chance you can try it in someone else's reloaded editor to confirm its definately the map ?

If it worked fine on someone elses at least you could eliminate the map at fault and start looking elsewhere.

Do you have another PC handy you can quickly install reloaded on and try the map ?

Are you using jungle tree 01 and/or jungle tree 02 by chance? If you are that is the problem, if you place the start marker to close to one of those trees you will spawn under the land.

Edit: You can fix it by changing the "collisionmode = 59" in the .fpe file to anything other than 59 and it will fix it. I change it to 1 and it works fine now.

Once V1.071 goes live, we will be updating ALL the trees in the Veg Pack to new tree collision modes.
