I was messing with the sound/music zones and I'm wondering if there will be a way to create 3D audio within the game? For example, if I place the sound of let's say.. a looped horn sound in the corner of a large building, would it be possible to have it so that the sound becomes louder the closer you get to it, and vice versa?

GPU: GTX 660, CPU: i7 3770 Intel 3.40ghz x4, PSU: 650 Watt, RAM: 8GB DDR3, OS: Win7 Ultimate 64-bit

This should already be the case. Drop in a looping sound somewhere, then proceed to run away from it and the 3D sound should kick in for you.

@Lee this is something that was added in 1.007? Because I know it did not work before..

Strange as I have been playing around with soundzones and I don't hear 3D sounds, as if it's playing from a distance. Perhaps a bug or something...

It should be working in V1.007 though it is possible the system was derailed when we worked on the atmospheric music trigger stuff. It is perhaps fortunate that we don't have any default assets that require proximity sound loops, but this issue has been added to the list as a B priority.
