Looks like it\'s not possible yet to create games with more than 1 Level/World.

Or how should I do it?

Save all as .exe(s) ?

Nope, you will have to wait for multi level support. Thats if they ever figure that part out.

@MooKai

Adding multi level support will be easy to implement and probably in the same mode as FPS Classic /X10....But right now its probably low on the list as we need able to make good levels first

well if you had no changing stats (exp, money, lives etc) then you could technically do it using os.execute() i guess but honestly would be a terrible way of doing it.

I want reloaded to give us the choice in loading as they have gave us open world so i would like loading on the fly ect so we can have huge maps that feel like it is all in the same area

The map is already huge

But what can we do with a huge map, if we get slow downs with trees, grass etc...

(GTX 770-4GB and slow downs...)

It is big but for the feel of an big open area loading on the fly is a good idea

I am in the same position with dual R9 280x platinum cards but this will change down the line i feel alot of people are coming to reloaded expecting an almost finished product we are still a bit away from that, the joy is in having a say in what gets put in and the taking part

@TattieBoJangle

I know Lee wants as much as possible done on the fly including front end menu's etc so it wouldn't surprise me if loading on the fly gets considered..

@MooKai

For now just keep your maps safe ...Hopefully when the time come

@synchromesh hope so m8 as it would make sense as when you run from one end to the other it only takes 1min 50sec and down the line if cars get added then it would be more like 50sec.

I agree initially the map seems huge, but in actual fact it's quite small for a big level. We would need some way of loading maps on the fly for truly large levels. I hope this will be possible at some point, but am aware it may never be the case. We can hope however, as I am sure Lee mentioned he would like this in a post or blog at some point. Don't ask me which one though! As the blog states nothing is set in stone!

Still, my attempts to make a huge wall looked odd as the landscape ended way too quickly!

We obviously do intend to support multi levels, and it is on our to do list. It isn't a case of figuring it out, but simply one of priorities. We feel that users want peformance and AI most, so that has been our focus.

And not just that - we have to understand that everytime a new feature/addition gets added it possibly comes with its own bugs and gremlins and therefore the

core as in performance & ai should be stable as hell before new things arrive.

I agree that multi level support should be a low priority and that performance and core input is important, but if we want to make good games we need to be able to make more than a single map. It wouldn't decrease performance that way also.

Our plans is to get one level working AWESOME and then add support for additional level connections through linear and non-linear progression. Also means some work in the Test Level feature too, ensuring you come back to the level you are originally editing. Plenty to do before then of course
