This is a first of its kind. The devs of H1Z1 are streaming while they create a map section. They are showing the engine application and some of the features. If you just watch you can see that it actually looks like fpsc with much more features. I recommend that you check it out cause you will def be excited for the potential of fpsc, I hope this can give you guys some ideas.

EDIT: This is really cool. I will add some notable features as I see them on the video.

- Instant object scaling

- Object grouping and duplicating makes it easier to place fences, walls, etc by allowing you to place one, drag it to make two, drag to make 4 etc.

- Undo,redo

- Leveling terrain using precise numbered amount

- While editing in a "3D" mode there is full access to all features of engine on visible icons.

- 3D rotating Gyro for object rotation

- multiple entity selection using mouse and what I presume to be a keyboard key being held down. (this leads to him object grouping and duplicating selected objects down the fense (1h 44 or so)

We could onl;y dream of this level of sophistication and ease of use. That editor is EXACTLY what every engine should be. You can see exactly what you are doing!

Im not very optimistic about even getting anything other than a top down view. Im not sure these guys know how to do it and why its needed to move out of 1998 mapping.
