They are remastered models with animations and textures bought up to date.

I don't have much more information than any of you at the moment although I've seen some internal screen shots and I can say they are looking great.

Hopefully they go even further than that. If you're going to do zombies you need to go all the way. I want them to have heads that splat open and the bodies continue to linger on after they've been decapitated, like in CoD nazi zombies.

Crawlers as well anyone?

I would not anticipate the release of the Zombie pack for the competition. Assume not and plan accordingly.

Well my competition entry has just been scuppered as I was hoping to get the Zombie pack in time after seeing what you guys have done and the preview in the weekly news letter.

It's not off the cards, but it's always dangerous to build your house on an 'assumed' foundation Many a bug has been born on the basis of an assumption

IMO, this is why the comp was a bit premature. There just arent enough features and capabilities yet.

Lee I know this quote to be true but the only assumption I made was that you would like a bit of variety in your competition not different landscapes with soldiers running around shooting at the player.

Which at the moment is all we can do unless we are able to create our own characters which (no offence to anyone) not many of us are able to do at the moment.

But all said I will have to change the theme and do the best I can. I would not like to waste all the work that I have put in.

@TazMan

Why change the theme and your hard work ?

Its not so much a game they are after its a level.. You stand just as much chance on the level design etc with or without enemies..

I don't think the competition was specific that it must be a

Thanks synchromesh

I have contacted RickV about the competition because the rules state that it is to be a "level game", so to me that is a bit unsure if they would accept just a level and storyline.

If they won't though this means that we are stuck with only genres that include soldiers and that is a very small pool to fish in.

Thanks again for the words of advice.
