Hello im new in the forum, got some trouble importing stuff to Fpsc Reloaded!

This is what i have done:

1-Create model in AutoCad(no problem)

2- export to 3dsmax and texture with a silver material (no problem)

3- export to blender as .3ds(material shows on blender)

4- export as .x (blender stops working with this model for some seconds...)

5- rename fpe and change it all to [name] (easy right)

So... i got the .x file the .fpe file

got this error: Error 7029 - 3D Memory Error at line 18704

6- go to my model unwrape the texture export as .dds

So... Coin.x, Coin.Fpe, and Coin.dds and:

Error 7029 - 3D Memory Error at line 18704

(texture) isnt it o the x file or i need to export my texture? If yes, How? :p (using 3dsmax for texture)

(model) when i import it to the "Entity Workshop V2" the model have no texture and looks like corrupted...

(blender) exporting the blender file to .x makes the blender stop working but it finishs the job after some seconds

Model Image atached

Help me!

you will need to uvw map your model then bake out your material as a .dds or use the uv map as a template in a 2d art package to paint you texture then save it out as a .dds file

This may be a silly question but why don't you export the object from 3DS Max?

Have you checked the poly size of the model. I have had the same thing that you have had with the program freezing for a few seconds when exporting and it was because the models poly count was large, if this was the case it would account for the error.

Regards

I've got something to say

Use this for smaller x files. Made by bond1 from our forums.
