Is or can controllable vehicles something TGC can look into in a future iteration?

this has been mentioned several times now, I hope we get to drive about at some point in time aswell.

you'd think it would be a natural progression from open world terrains. Also aircraft. I want aircraft, please.

Vehicles are a very popular request, but to do well will need an entire Beta dedicated to it. It is on our list, but we think users would prefer a fast, stable engine with decent AI first. .

I do have to agree with sc, I would prefer the engine solid 1st with the ai and lua and such finished.

Adding cars as an addition to a fps game would be nice down the line, but the earlier it gets in the sooner we will see games with that as a focus. It seems unneeded when we compare it as a feature, but when you look at it as a focus on the main game it seems very workable at the moment. Think about it, we cannot really edit indoors, we have all these missing elements to really fine tune a fps experience, might as well have vehicles so we can attempt to make some sort of off road deliver the contraband type games. At least with a vehicle based game you do not need as many little programmed interactions and can focus more on a bigger picture.



Anyway vehicles would play an "extra" role in my game right now since I am aware we are not getting vehicles but if I knew they were coming I would def redesign my concept.

I think vehicles now would be more work than needed, all the extra scripts huds and such probably a whole cartload of functions to command them aswell.

but I would like to have useable vehicles in the game at some point im thinking on making. ai lua and more performance work is needed still imo. because now at least the ai drain on the engine is large still, you can see that just by adding enemies in a level that and all the animated plants and tree's make abig hit to fps quite quickly.
