Nope this isn't one. BUT, it is a plea to get some user input into the next one!

I have been given the task of making the next Reloaded Demo Video and have been asked to get some demos to help make it. I'll be making a montage of various scenes, showing what Reloaded is capable of.

So if you would like to see your game get into the new Reloaded Demo Video then PM me with a link to a standalone demo of it. Please include a screenshot or 2 of the best spots to use and possibly a bit of info about the level also. Just to let me know where to go and capture the best footage!

Levels can be big or small as long as they look good. Just don't plonk a couple of trees down and expect it to get used, I'm already good at that

Let me know either here or by PM. I wouldn't recommend you posting demos here directly, unless you have no issues with other people trying it. Best bet is a dropbox link to me directly.

Good luck!

You can check out my vids on YouTube and there's a fan made promo video I put together a while back I can put some different scenes together if I have a focus for them , otherwise check the vid I posted in the discuss competition thread and I can send u a refined map of that(has a nice little river in it, anyway let me know

@ AuShadow I'll check it out. There's no specific focus as yet. I would say TGC want to get some nice variety of standard media, store media and custom media.

@ Tattiebojangle. Looks great from the screenshots. All those screenshots look pretty goo

Not had much chance to get on past few days. Had issues with my computer, typically. Will be sorting it later today I hope and then will get cracking properly. Bad timing with the compo I imagine as most will be busy doing stuff for those great prizes. But it's all for the same goal.

I did not see a date listed on this comp.. Does anyone know or are we working on our projects then waiting till 1.007 before any other information comes out? I am working on my submission but would like a deadline so I can start to plan accordingly.

comp ends at the end of the month I thought?!, not very long at all given we have to get used to all the scripting and whatnot for 07. and finish a demo level, without the zombie pack no less .. so bad timing!.

The good news is that you all have the same lack of time, and we will not be too cruel judging the first one as we know the engine needs plenty more before you can impress us with your imaginations!

Okay I am all set to start working on this, I've let interested parties know via PM, and will be working hard on it over the weekend.

Oh thanks for the vote of confidence Almightyhood! What with my system deciding to go horribly wrong just as I got asked to do this, and taking way longer to fix than I anticipated, I'm feeling under pressure now!

I probably will have enough footage from the levels promised, but it depends how much time I spend on each one so any more demos could still make it into the demo! It doesn't matter if its your own media or stock as long as it looks cool!

Incredible work....One question....The huge hanger incorporated into the hills....How do you do that ?

Are the hills part of the model...or did you somehow hammer it in

@ Almightyhood, I'll have a look which demo are you referring to? I must admit it will be tough to fit everything into the demo as 2 minutes is soon over when it comes down to it!

Tattie; looks good! Only thing I can say, is that all your chain link fencing is facing the wrong way; unless you want to keep people in the airfield....rather than out.

Cheers Jerry! Edutainment, not heard that phrase for a few years! Hopefully I will do it justice.

Still working on it, but mostly fine tuning now. Thanks to Tattiebojangle and Almightyhood for the demos, also AuShadow for the offer although in the end there was not enough time to get a demo off him. Just thought I'd pop by and do this post, now back to work!

Can't wait to see what you come up with DVader Don't you worry about pressure, we allow everyone to make three 'mega fails' before we wag our index fingers. Just have fun with the process and everything will work out great!
