The reason it is done this way is because FPSCR won't use this folder navigation style forever, the folder navigation quickly becomes a pain when you have a lot of media like FPSCR will, it will be replaced with a search style system which will be far quicker to find what you want.

The assets are being placed in an efficient way for a new system to work, as a result it may make items harder to find until the system is in place.

Once an item is added to the store it is very hard to relocate but if you find errors do report them.

In the add entity page of the editor, would it make any sence toany one other than myself to move the "OK" and the Cancel" buttons from the right bottom corner to the bottom left? Just a suggestion.

I think that while it may seem a little confusing at the moment because it's a new approach, once the search feature is in things will start to make a lot more sense.

Of course, as Lee said, if you have any issues with store media please let me know and I'll look into it.

Hi,

Haven't had much time play with FPSC:R till this weekend. The stuttering bug in the previous version threw me off so much I couldn't stand running it. Glad it was fixed.

My first impressions are wow! The terrain editor is really amazing and easy to use. I'm a noob when it comes to FPS'ers and terrain editing but over the weekend I was able to make a small map for my son to play on and he really enjoyed it.

The ability to edit in 3D mode is excellent , I was having a bit of trouble with depth perception when building hills and valleys, but in 3D mode it's a real breeze. If I could change one thing I'd like the speed of map scrolling increased when Gravity is off. Even with shift it seems a bit slow.

Not sure if this is possible( or maybe even in) but the ability to paint the default texture back over grass and Gravel, rock ones would be nice. I always find myself over painting areas, and having weeds coming through my floors.

Going to see if I can come up with a map for the competition , doubt it will win anything since I've seen some amazing work in the wip's but thought I'd give it a try

anyways good work TGC , can't wait for the new version

While it's far from perfect, right-clicking while painting erases whatever grass/gravel, etc. you originally painted on. There is still a faint residual "film, but when you launch, it should look right! Hope that helps!

So... will all the packs and skins be zombies? And if we want to do a Call of Duty or Medal of Honor?

Also, anyone willing to make a deal with me? I ask a skin/object that still doesn't exist, and I get it for free from the artist. Then he makes a different version to sell in the store (lets say I ask for a 3-wheel car. Mine would be red and the one in the store, blue). By the way, is this kind of deal against TGC/FPSCR rules?

Here, there and everywhere.

@Titantropo : Any contract you broker between yourself an an artist would be between you. We would ask you contact the artist directly, and not through the forum or announce something crude like 'artists wanted - good pay'. Just find an artist who is post

You wasn't expecting any announcement about when it was coming was you? Its not released yet and apparently, they have NO clue when it would be released. Top secret government tactics here. You should feel privileged to even have access to the program. Shhhhhhhhhhhh!

We have a very good idea of when it will be released. All being well, we estimate a release towards the end of next week.

Next week !! Doh..

I myself cannot wait to see V1007 ...I cant get my head around the roof coming off the models and grabbing assets to move about....I think I have to see it to believe it...I have questions like what if one model has 3 floors and the other is a cottage.. Will it be like FPS Classic tabbing up higher floors then lower ?

Please show us a video of it in action before next week
