Simply compile (Save Standalone) as normal, then go to the destination folder and open SETUP.INI in Notepad then change fullscreen=0

Hello Lee,

Thank you for your reply.

But, that does not change, 1 or 0. It is always full screen...

Have you an idea of the problem ?

Thank you And continue to work for this great adventure !

I just tried it and I get the same result, still full screen! Never tried that before. I do know that the engine that Lee works on is not the same as what is released (per another post), so maybe that's just not working yet in our version?

When you ask for Window, I take it you want a title bar, close button, e.t.c. When I say window mode, I mean a window that takes the whole desktop area. Full screen means full screen EXCLUSIVE mode which disables updates to all other apps and window processes, where as windows mode allows you to ALT+TAB to other apps running in the background. You would get no title bar in FULLSCREEN=0 mode.

Ah... I had not planned a windowed mode, without window.

This is a function that you enter in the near future ? Because many people like to play in windowed mode, to have a visual on the Windows toolbar, and change the application in one click...

If we get more requests for this we can certainly implement it. Never been asked for this before however, in all the seven years FPSC Classic ran

Have to admit at the time I thought .." Window Mode " great idea that will be handy..

But I was thinking I would be able to run the game in a window and still see the editor behind...That would be handy within the editor but not to fussed about whether the standalone exe has a window mode or not.

I love this feature because I play a lot of video games, and more in windowed mode. Nowadays, almost every video game publishers include this feature in all of their games. I do not think this work on windowed mode is for nothing...

Allow players to play with their graphics preferences is important. Windowed mode is the same vein as the screen size, resolution, etc.

The idea of 'synchromesh' is good too, to test the game in windowed mode.

Lee, please, thank you to try !

@Ultravox The only problem with playing in windowed mode is that it decreases your FPS. When in fullscreen mode the most attention (cpu/mem) is put on the game process, but the process of the game pauses when you alt-tab out (not good for streamers). I
