Here is an AK47 I'm working on in Blender.











I think its coming on pretty well. I'm using GIMP to texture it which is great for wood and stone but doesnt seem so great for metals. Anyone got any idea how to do a weathered steel effect that would be suitable for this?



None of GIMPs tools seem much use. I have photoshop CS2.
