I'm considering doing the $100 pledger, but my video card is only 256 megabites. Yes, I know, sad. The system requirements say that a memory card of 1 gig, or, preferably, 2 gig is needed, and this scares me. Could I run the game at a really low framerate, or should I simply wait for an opportunity to get a better computer?

If you are planning on getting reloaded anyway, I would recommend getting it now! There is a discount code floating around that will get you $20 off as well. (At least I think it's still around, haven't seen it today though). I would guess it's not going to get any cheaper than that until the product is near the end of it's life cycle, which should be several years. On the negative side, you're going to need a new PC, or at the very least a new video card. In it's latest beta form, Reloaded creeps along even on the most robust machines once you get a lot (a relative term, I know) of objects in your world, but even with the performance improvements coming in the next beta, I'm pretty sure your card will still have issues with it. At least you would have a chance to see how it performs with your current rig, and go from there (I would wait until the next beta and see what the difference is before buying a new machine though). Also, you will be getting familiar with using Reloaded in the meantime, albeit at a low frame rate!

I want to get Reloaded now but will be at least a year before a new PC and currently using:

Acer Aspire One 722

AMD dual core 1.0 (overclocked "turbo" to 1.3)

4GB RAM

Video:

Pipelines 80 - unified

Core Speed * 280 - 400 MHz

Shader Speed * 280 - 400 MHz

Shared Memory yes

DirectX DirectX 11, Shader 5.0

technology 40 nm

Features DirectX 11, UVD3, Turbo Core 400MHz

classified as 5.5 on gaming scale so can handle the GFX just my wimpy cpu.

Should I wait or does this look like it will suffice as well as FPSC Classic as it runs just fine on version 1.19 update.

Well, did not wait, had to try it out hahahahahaha impatience is a virtue!

How does it work? (Btw, I just waited to get a new computer that would run FPSCR better, so I don't know how a weaker video card handles it)

I can run FPSCR on low settings at above 30 fps on a two year old integrated graphics card. So I would expect any card that supports Direct X11 to be capable to running it on at least low especially since V1.006

Windows 7 Pro, Intel i7 3.8 GHz, 16GB DDR3, NVIDIA GTX 780 4GB Superclocked

Reloaded can use a LOT of video memory, and 1GB is a safe buffer to ensure you can do anything you see in these forums. 256MB is cutting it very close! You might want to wait until a free demo is released so you can check out a standalone game and see how your system fairs.

PC SPECS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Intel Core i7 920 (PASSMARK:5008), NVIDIA Geforce 9600 GT GPU (PASSMARK:752) , 6GB RAM
