I have a slight problem. Rift works great with the demo world program. I save a Reloaded standalone, add Riftmode=1 to the setup file. The file opens with no gamepad controls, F9 brings up the game menu, F11 does nothing, the OR headset moves the image on the monitor but the OR headset lcd shows the monitor page..it is the opposite of what it should be.

New issue...I can't open the standalone (2 different standalones) I am getting this error

The FPSC Map Editor has stopped working.

Win7 Pro... I have it up but my pc crashed, had to replace it Win 8.1, and I haven't had time to load my files and set it up. Sometimes work interferes with my goofing off.

A suggestion for Win8.1 maybe? All help appreciated!

Sorry it's so late getting back, I often forget where I posted. It would be nice if we could track them! EDIT: I just started a forum folder in my bookmarks. Duh! So, you're probably quite familiar with Win 8.1 by now. How do you like it? I hated it with a passion in the beginning at Win 8 and almost threw my nearly brand new desktop through the window when I finally surrendered and let it update to 8.1. It's kinda grown on me now and I've figured out a lot of the things I didn't like at the start. It seems to be a pretty stable OS, although when it updated I lost the ability to run Ultimate Unwrap, which runs fine on my new laptop that shipped with 8.1. Have not been able to figure that one out.

Are you still getting that crash with the editor? EDIT 2Nevermind, just read that it's working for you! How did you fix it?) I haven't tried my OR with the latest beta yet, I will try it later today when I get home and see what happens. That error looks a lot like the crash I get with Ultimate Unwrap. I have set it to run as admin, tried compatibility mode for every OS available, and turned off DEP as well. No luck. It had to have something to do with the update since it worked previously, and also works fine with the native 8.1 machine. My error message contained the same or similar info to yours along with a stack hash error. I have no idea what that is. Good luck!

Another oddity about win 8/8.1: I have older applications that wouldn't run in win 7 that WILL run in 8.1! Curious!

MAME Cab PC: i7 4770@3.4Ghz (passmark 9945), 12GB RAM, Win 8.1/64, GeForce GTX645 (passmark 1898); Shiny new laptop: i7 4800MQ@2.7Ghz (passmark 8586), 16GB RAM, Win 8.1/64, GeForce GTX870M (passmark 3598); Old laptop: i5@2.3Ghz, 8GB RAM, Win 7/64, Intel 3000 graphics
