My one gripe thus far is the shooting cursor for guns and what not - they literally blend with the background. The aiming cursor needs to be thicker, bolder and more obvious.

Hi,

This is a good point and one that we've not focused on. Are there any big games out there that you think do this really well which we can emulate?

I have to agree with the dot being to small, low brightness. maybe a crosshair would be better for shooters than a dot? maybe it could turn red when aimed at an enemy to?.

have fun stay safe

I am still waiting on Rick to send me some sample cross hair links from popular games so I can then send ideas to our artist to knock up some nicer ones

Hello TGC and Community!

As a gold pledger, We downloaded FPS Reloaded today.

Question: How do we install the map packs that were included to FPS Reloaded?

Thank You,

Good cross hairs

World of Tanks has a good cross hair by default. Of course, you'll want to customize it a bit but generally, most new players are happy with it.

Sometime, the best crosshair is simply "a dot surrounded by a small 90% alpha circle outlined by a 50% alpha edge."

However, if you could allow people to create their own custom crosshair, that would make everything that much more unique.

Sorry, I have been so busy I have not looked at this post. Hmmmm. I have no favorite game with crosshairs, although one of my favorite games of all time is Red Faction Guerilla. There is something about destroying EVERYTHING that is totally satisfying.

I would love to see destructive environments in FPSCR (and vehicles).

You could look at Call of Duty Ghosts. But you'd need to play the game enough to unlock all the cross hair options lol
