Currently, I'm working on the modern weapons that are destined both for FPSC Reloaded and FPSC Classic. I don't know how many weapons I'll be able to make exactly, but I have done four, so far. Here are some videos and screenshots.



NOTE

The hands/arms are temporary, therefore they do not look too realistic at this moment.

Thanks! I have a small problem with the shader however (weapon_basic.fx). Both the stock weapons as well as my own have a strange black glow on the hands. I don't know how to fix it.

these weapons are awesome. your work is always appreciated. i get the reason why TGC want to do away with the model packs. It all makes since now. once you put these up in the store for sell this pack will be easy to download and install for both fpsc and reload. instead of the way it was for fpsc and fpscx10 where they had to change the installers to install into one file direct path. the problem with that is also if you wanted to install the models for both fpsc and fpscx10 it would in up uninstalling from one of the paths file and then you could install it in the other. so would have to copy and paste the model pack items form one fpsc file path to the other fpsc file path.

These weapons look GREAT! the one critique i would say is that the weapons don't look like they are pointing at the crosshair. That is the one thing I don't really like about them, but other then that they are great!

I love these guns they are amazing quality like tomahawk said though it does look funny that the gun doesn't aim at the crosshairs ... But other than that amazing quality i will definitely purchase these when on the reloaded store. (:

No fear, I'm not going to cancel the project and what's more, I would like to release it soon. There are still many things to improve, such as animations and some textures, hence the small delays, but I hope, that I'll be able to deal with everything later this month.

I'm really sorry for such a delay. The pack is almost ready actually (roughly 95% of the work has been done I think), but there's still some issues. I'm very busy right now and I can't find some free time to fix them all. I hope to do it soon however. You can see some screenshots below, directly from the Reloaded.

I would say not that things are fading away.

We are all just waiting for the new beta release to take advantage of the new benefits. Things like collision and shaders and sound stuff. Custom character stuff will lead to new weapons being rigged and animated.

Explosions and decals and particle, Oh my!!

This will add a great capability to the weapons and other stuff that can be made.

No fear! The pack is 100% ready and is just waiting for the new version of the Reloaded (V1.008). I'll try to record some video in the meantime to show the new animations and generally all weapons in action.
