This is no big deal, but when I am rotating object I like to use the gradual rotate rather than the snapping rotate. It would be nicer if snapping rotate required [shift]+[x] and gradual rotate was just [x]. This is especially true when I am doing something that requires a lot of precisely placed copies. Like right now I'm laying a long split-rail fence and it's kind of a pain to have to push shift+3 to rotate.

Like I said, no big deal. Just my opinion.

Hold "shift" or "control" key while pressing "R" to rotate fast or slow.

Brian.

If my post seems rude or stupid, don't be offended. It's just a failed attempt at humor.

You can also hold [SHIFT] and [1] through [6] to affect the various axis of rotation.
