I am very pleased with the progress so far and can see great games being produced with this new engine. Combining 4 or 5 older classic levels together to truly add hours of play time per level instead of minutes.

Bravo. Great start.

What I would like to see is an outliner or layering type feature for picking object for edit in congested area of the map editor, where lots of objects are close together or small objects under a larger ones.

I find as in the classic version of FPSC that I have to move an object out of the way, make my edit and then place the object back where it was.

This can be time consuming when fine placement is the issue.

Also the ability to change more of the collision properties and placement properties in the editor instead of the FPE files.

After performance and some other essentials, I will be replacing the entity highlighter with one that surrounds the entity perfectly like a glow. This way you can use pixel perfect accuracy to locate and grab the entity you want to edit.

Hogging the awesome since 1999
