Hi

Basically dynamic shadows don't work properly in FPSC Classic. They were never implemented properly and never fixed later on.

Basically you should use high quality static lightmaps as much as possible and only use dynamic entities for things which have to move like doors.

The only mod which really attempted to solve dynamic shadows is LRMod but it never got finished.

Hi JC

Xploid mod has not been (to my knowledge) updated beyond v4.0 which was still unfinished and had some issues like characters and guns not working which stopped it from becoming something big.

I did try Xploid mod with an older version of FPSC and got a basic scene working with dynamic shadows but it had too many bugs to make an actual game. Also Xploid mod only works with FPSC v1.15 or v1.16 so it probably isn't compatible with v1.20.

Here is the last official Xploid trailer that I've seen:

If you really want to try out Xploid or Corvus mod which both have dynamic shadows, I've uploaded them for you. As I said before you will probably need to use FPSC v1.16 for them to work at all.

Here is the offical developer site for Xploid mod. The latest version for download says v3.0 but I've uploaded v4.0 for you.

They are definately not the best for a full project but nice to play around with. FPSC Reloaded has dynamic shadows so people are going to use that if this is a key feature for the project.

I know the Corvus mod folder has some instructions when you download and they will probably mostly work for Xplod also. Also you will need to download FPSC v1.16 for this.
