I use standart door.lua script at ebe building and after i open door, door not interactive anymore (can walk inside door and cant close door.) How to fix?

Make sure that the door object is dynamic. Also is this just a door, or a door and frame?

Is there a key assigned to the door?

When a door is open the script doesnt show a prompt to close it, but it does close if you walk close and face it and press E. Maybe thats what youre seeing?

Primary Desktop:
i7 7700,k NV1070 8GB, 16GB 3200mhz memory, 1x 2TB Hybrid, Win10.

Secondary Desktop:
i5 4760k, NV960 2GB, 16GB 2333mhz memory, 1x 2TB Hybrid, Win10.

Laptop:
i3, Intel 4000 series graphics, 6GB memory, 1x 500gb HDD, Win8.1.

When doors are open they become non solid ..
Those ebe doors have an issue … for some reason they wont work once opened in an ebe structure
it has been reported ..
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

Can someone give an example map of these issue? Or at least tell me where these "ebe doors" are?

The doors are in fixtures ( not the sliding ones )
I can try to put together a little demo but if I remember correctly its a model issue and not the EBE or GG
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

The standard door script will not work with these doors, because they have different animation frames
Use my script. I did not need any video or testmap. It was very simple to fix

I'm not sure why they won't work with the standard door script, it should work off of anim0 and anim1, as long as you set those to the correct frames in the fpe, it should work fine.

Its a atrange one when I tested … Using the EBE it works fine outside of a doorframe but not once its inserted
It wouldn't even show the " Press E to open door " prompt.
But the sliding doors do ..

What really bugs me, and is related to the topic because it involves all animated objects, is that once placed in the editor animated objects become un-selectable except by box selecting.

They are not set in the fpe. I have no clue about animation, so if you set them correctly and it is not working, could you upload it and then we could look for the bug.

It's the reason why i made the doors whitin a doorframe which you can also find in the fixtures folder.
A door without a doorframe must be placed presicely in order to work properly, scale it down and it works but you have holes between the door and frame.

Try to override your door.lua with:

it's likely the visibility of the player for the door when put inside a frame is no longer returning true, removing the check should fix it

That makes sense .. Sounds exactly the problem

Turn physics off for the frame, assuming the door frame is surrounded by walls the player will still 'collide' with the walls.
Been there, done that, got all the T-Shirts!
