After hunting down an issue with "wrong" and "awkward" shadows on some of our higher polycounting custom assets for several weeks, we discovered last Friday that the shadows are actually INVERTED. See screenshots.

The funny point is that there is no 100% reproduction way, it only appears that the more complex a level is, the higher the probability of the bug appearing will be.

- On an empty map, placing the buildings (rich houses) and our premium char omar will appear most likely as intended.
- In a complex level like our entire world, 8 - 9 out of 10 runs will show the bug
- It only appears with entitiy shaders set to high.

Any ideas?

If possible, try using skinned models and see if there is any difference.

We use both max and maya, but the buildings were entirely done in 3DS MAX
